This is a shrewd piece by Hoagland who seems to have especially good contacts on Saudi Arabia. The piece rings true in its assertions that by offering Muslim troops in Iraq the Saudis earn good points with and for Bush with little likelihood that they will actually deploy forces given the parameters that they specifiy.
