1,562 members of the Muslim Brotherhood had been arrested after nationwide anti-government protests on Wednesday, not the 400 announced by the Egyptian officials.

This is the same old pattern: As the oppostion begins to gain even a bit of momentum the government slashes back with arrests from the major oppostion force, the Muslim Brotherhood. Despite the inspiring and courageous recent protests, the same old game is being played.
