BuyBlue.org : Ranked Company List
This is an attempt to encourage U.S. voters to direct their purchases to companies with a congenial political orientation, in this instance leaning toward the Democratic party. The methodology tracks and weighs political donations to political causes. It is too early to determine the impact of such web sites behaviorally, but it will be interesting to see if those companies with donation patterns that reveal clear political preferences will adjust their actions in order to move to the wishy-washy center.
