Kenneth Pollack will be remembered by readers as the former Clinton NSC staffer who reversed himself on Iraq in order to support the invasion of Iraq. He subsequently apologized for his error. Like many Middle East policy process people in Washington, he displays a weak knowledge of the Arab world, which no doubt contributed to his analytical errors on Iraq.
