Remember when White House Economic Advisor Lawrence Lindsey was fired in the fall of 2002 for estimating the war would cost over $100 billion?

Report Says Iraq War Is More Costly Than Vietnam - Los Angeles Times: "The U.S. war in Iraq now costs more per month than the average monthly cost of military operations in Vietnam in the 1960s and 1970s, according to a report issued Wednesday by two antiwar organizations. "
The annual cost of the war is now estimated to be $67 billion.
