Bush chats spontaneously with well primed troops

(George Bush in an earlier spontaneous moment.)

You can be sure that anytime a dignitary is visiting with soldiers, the soldiers will have spent days prepping for their fleeting encounter with a VIP. What is somewhat different about this incident was not that the soldiers were primed, but that the priming was done by the White House. Usually, it is just the nervous generals and colonels who want to make sure the troops put the best foot forward, but in this instance the White House wanted to be sure that the troops gave the right canned answers on Iraq.
