The New James Baker-Lee Hamilton Iraq Study Group

Under Congressional urging the United States Insitute for Peace, CSIS, the James A. Baker III Center at Rice University, and the Center for the Study of the Presidency are forming an Iraq Study Group to provide an independent and bi-partisan "fresh look" at the situation in Iraq and the region. Former Congressman Lee H. Hamilton, who co-chaired the 9-11 Commission, and former Secretary of State James A. Baker III have agreed to serve as co-chairs.
