Gen Sir Mike Jackson's attack draws US ire - Telegraph
Gen Sir Mike Jackson's attack draws US ire - Telegraph: "Former defence ministers have backed a withering attack on the US's post-war administration of Iraq by General Sir Mike Jackson, the head of the army during the invasion. Sir Mike has condemned the approach taken by former Donald Rumsfeld as 'intellectually bankrupt', adding that the former US defence secretary is 'one of those most responsible for the current situation in Iraq'. The former chief of the defence staff's broadside, made in a book to be serialised in The Daily Telegraph, has now ignited a trans-Atlantic row that threatens to damage the 'special relationship' between the two allies."
