Nuclear power for the UAE

Turkey recently confirmed plans for three nuclear power plants, and the GCC also has plans for a joint program. The acquisition of nuclear technology by any state inevitably moves it closer to the acquisition of fissile explosive materials as a natural consequence of reactor operation.
