One of the prevailing concerns in Lebanon during my recent visit was that the Hezbollah led seizure of West Beirut would prompt an upsurge in violence by extremist Sunni groups, both individual acts of terror-violence as well as the organizing of militias. This single incident illustrates the first concern.
