Ali Kordan's Oxford days end

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad didn't see the big deal because the faked degree was only "honorary". The Majles did not agree, and voted overwhelmingly to impeach Kordan. Widespread grumbling against Ahmadinejad reportedly continues, more for his economic bumbling than his gratuitous tirades. The big question for 2009 is whether he will win re-election. Elections in Iran are deeply flawed by the routine and often sweeping disqualification of candidates, but the vote counting is usually marked by a significant degree honest accounting.
