The Boston University Institute for Iraqi Studies has held two workshops on the Syrian refugee crisis. The first workshop was held in March 2013. The audio transcript and report are available on the website. The report is also available from Amazon.com.
The second workshop was held in January 2014. The audio transcript will soon be posted, and the report was published on March 31, 2014. (An Amazon digital version is also available.) The 2014 meeting focused on the impact of the refugee catastrophe on the contiguous states, as well as the ramifications for Palestinian refugees.
A third workshop is in planning for late spring, 2014.
