Watch for the news in Lancet or the New England Journal of Medicine

Stunning health announcements were made by Acting President Adly Mansour and some top Army generals.  An honorary general cum faith-healer startled the scientific world in late February with the news of his two inventions:  One was a 100% effective blood purification system using electromagnetic pulses, and the other a handheld gadget that could detect HIV and hepatitis C viruses.  General Ibrahim Abdel Atti also announced a kuftah (minced meatballs) delivery system for curing AIDS.

This is the kind of ingenuity and talent that will surely speed Egypt's economic recovery.  See the Economist essay.
