Don't expect to see a cascade of withdrawals from WB settlements. The GAZA withdrawal is about consolidating the colonization of Palestnian territory

Haaretz - Israel News: "'It is no secret that I, like many others, believed and hoped that we would be able to hold onto Netzarim and Kfar Darom forever,' Sharon said. 'The changing reality in the country, the region, and the world required a different assessment and a change in [my] position.'"

The veteran Harvard scholar Herbert C. Kelman offers a notably balanced, if optimistic assessment of what is happening in Gaza and how movement toward a negotiated solution might be lent momentum.
